What's 5% Give Back?

Did you know…

Clients of Swan Law, PC now have the opportunity to give tens of thousands of dollars to charity over the years as part of our 5% Give Back Program.

We believe that giving to charity is the right thing to do.  Our 5% Give Back Program directs an amount equal to 5% of our fees to charity.

How does that work?  When working with a new client, we reduce our fees by 5% and ask the client to donate that 5% to their favorite charity or charities.*  If they don’t have a favorite charity, we have a list of charities to choose from.

THEN, we personally hand-deliver the client’s donation check (which usually ranges from $100 to $300) to the charity so we can get to know the charity a little better and see first-hand how the donation benefits the charity.

For charities interested in more than just a one-time donation, we can work with the charity to present educational workshops (at no cost to the charity) on the importance of estate planning, which can often result in more one-time donations, as well as bequests to the charity.

Other outreach opportunities we support for listed charities are: social media, handouts, fundraising events, newsletter articles, direct mail, press releases and more.

If your charity would like to be featured on our website and included in our list of charities to choose from, please contact Jamie Burgess at 970-879-1572 or at jamie@swanlawoffice.com for further information.

We look forward to working with you!
