Legacy Club: Health & Wellness

What does estate planning have to do with health care?

First: You have the right to make your own health care decisions. It doesn’t matter if you can’t communicate them. If you have an advance directive, you can have control over what happens to you, even in an emergency.

Second: Estate planning is a wellness practice. By creating a plan, you’re giving yourself ultimate peace of mind, and you’re taking stress out of the future for your family. Your family deserves a plan if something happens to you.

Third: How healthy you are can have an impact on how you design your estate plan. It’s important for doctors and attorneys to be on the same page when designing your plan.

Especially if you have a serious illness, having a plan is crucially important.

So this month, we’re focusing on good health practices in Legacy Club.
